Accessibility to campus has always disproportionately affected campus commuters. Commuting students waste time, energy, and money getting to and from school and lack the same level of engagement to campus as students that live on campus. The recent surge in gas prices has made it extremely costly for students to even travel short distances, so we aim to offer an alternative mode of transportation to provide students with a more feasible and greener option. And given the environmental impact that single-occupant vehicles have on our roads, reducing the number of cars on the road to campus has a great impact on reducing the amount of congestion and carbon emissions associated with transit.
