ABOUT
Inefficiencies in the media booking process means producers work longer hours, the most qualified voices are kept on the periphery of the conversation and it leads to distrust of the media. Producers operate under tight deadlines to book experts for coveted media opportunities but do not have a vetted database, often resorting to the first confirmation they get from their own rolodex, whom is not always the most qualified voice on the topic. Experts and Organizations have depended on an inefficient PR industry to make these inroads for them, an industry which is expected to surpass $93 billion in value by the end of 2022. Nevertheless, this is not a process that rewards the most qualified voices with the best opportunities, rather one which benefits those with higher PR budgets. The Coronavirus has made networking even more difficult for these experts.
